BID NOW

If you happen to own a domain that contains "Bid" you might want to write about some of the things that are going on in the bidding world, especially about the huge discounts that are being offered on Bid sites. The temptation for me is certainly great and there is always the possibility of joining some of these folks to bid for an item at the lowest price by creating an auction somewhere as a way of earn additional revenue. You now have a choice of thousands of auto bid portals which are using one of various software engines to interact with their users. From the highly reputed companies like Ebay to some of the more shady penny auction sites, you definitely have everything you need at your fingertips if you have time, money and a credit card in your hand.

Even though group discounts e.g. Groupon are not really doing exactly the same as the others, they also qualify as a company who is targeting many of the products that are listed on the left menu. How successful could I be in turning this site around and making all of those topics into pages which actually showed products for sale? Would anyone buy from me? I guess that this site format is not appropriate and I would need to get some ready made css style sheets and follow the bid site design trend. Whatever I think, there is no harm in investigating these topics. How on earth can someone find out about a business if they never try themselves? If anyone cares to post here and share their experiences in the Bid Game, I would be honoured since it has not been my forte. No doubt it is highly competitive but I do something to say about it which might help give a better understanding as to why someone else might want to try their hand at the Bid Business.

                                          BUYING HABITS

Not everyone has the same buying habits. To know this, all you have to do is spend some time looking at your own buying habits and that of others. Want to know about my habits? I can tell you that I could not really care less where I buy a low cost item from when I need it. As long as feel safe about the company and my credit card details, I will be likely to make an online purchase.  I almost forgot to tell you that I expect a quick delivery and a reasonable price. I also don't want to have to put too much information into a sign up form or "register with us" page. This is because if the item is low value, it does not deserve too much of my time. Time is money and if a low cost item is taking up too much time to buy, then I believe that I am losing money. Of course I have been screwed by certain online bid companies in the past because of my impulsive behaviour, but I for the most part I have normally been able to aquire what I wanted in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. I know that not everyone is like me but I do believe there are millions of people who think in a similar way. There is a saying "Don't spend one thousand dollars to make one dollar" and if you are busy like me, you won't have time to do too much bargain hunting. Bargain hunting actually costs money if you think about it deeply. Some people frustrate me because they do not understand how valuable their time is.

                                       BUY CALCULATIONS

This might seem something ridiculous and unimportant to someone who has never had to deal with too many things at the same time. If you have absolutely no money and are thinking about purchasing only one item at a time, then you won't know what I am talking about. I am talking about having to spend money on a myriad of things within a short time frame. If you are a purchasing officer or manager for a large corporation, you will know exactly what I am talking about. You know the stress involved where a project is probably going to fail if you can't purchase all those items fast enough. There never seems to be enough time, does there? If you are fortunate enough to meet a good supplier who can immediately take a load off your chest, you might not be concerned about him making a little bit of extra money from the service he provides. You see, not everyone is looking for a discount. Some people just want to buy and item as quickly as possible. Some might say that they are impulsive buyers while others might simply say that they are expedient.

Now lets talk about those other buyers who spend the whole day trying to find something cheaper. If you are looking for low cost items and spending enormous amounts of time trying to save ten dollars, then ask yourself how much are you paid per hour. If you are paid 20 dollars per hour and you spend half a day looking to find something twenty dollars cheaper, you might want to understand that you are actually paying much more for this item because of the time you spent trying to find it. If you don't value your time and cannot see this, then you could end up in a trap thinking you are saving money when you actually are losing money.

Some people might be thinking that we already have enough e-commerce sites on the web but I believe that we don't have enough. This depends on what you personally prefer when you go to a town to shop. Do you like buying everything from one huge department store or are you one of those people who likes all those little specialist shops that probably have something a little different from the others. If you are the latter, then you might agree with me that the saying is true "the more the merrier"

Yes, lets welcome millions on new bid sites onto the internet. Let's not believe that this business is confined to companies like Ebay or that everyone is going to buy from Amazon. No! Let's all make millions of websites with millions of new products on offer selling every imaginable item and service that one could conceive. Let's not give in to monopolies but work hard to produce more interesting web shops, more flavours, styles, techniques, bargains and specialization.
